Title: | Cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging of non-ischaemic heart disease: established and emerging applications |
Creators Name: | Bohl, S. and Schulz-Menger, J. |
Abstract: | This review aims to summarise state-of-the-art CMR-methodology, established applications, future directions and potentials in the assessment of patients with NonIschaemic-Heart Disease. CMR offers the unique possibility to differentiate myocardial tissue changes. One of the most challenging tasks in cardiology is the differentiation of the underlying cause of a wall motion abnormality in case of unclear or conflicting results of conventional clinical assessment CMR offers the unique chance to fill that gap. Most of the presented data are ready for use in clinical routine. |
